Franciscan Ministries, Inc. grew out of the community work of the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor. In keeping with their Franciscan heritage, these ministries focused on serving those in need. The ministries are an extension of this long history of service to the poor.
Franciscan Ministries is a social service agency offering programs that help build a better future for those who suffer from addiction, live in poverty, are alone, and are on the fringes of society.
We provide the basic necessities: from a haircut, to a safe place to live, to help getting off the streets.
Inspired by the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor, we are a non-profit human service organization that addresses the unmet needs of people who are underserved, vulnerable, and overlooked. We are a presence of healing, respecting the dignity of each person through a personal approach and diverse services.
