Director of Fund Development (Full-time)
Position Summary: The Director of Fund Development is charged with the responsibility of managing activities related to analysis, planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising and related public relations and activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline;
Five plus years’ development experience;
Excellent verbal communication and relationship building skills;
Strong written communication skills; and
Ability to manage a fundraising database.
Key areas of responsibility:
Prepare and implement an annual development plan that supports the agency’s strategic goals and objectives.
Design and lead donor communication and engagement strategies. Identify and steward prospective donors.
Provide leadership and staffing to the board development committee and volunteer groups.
With input from ED and board, develop and maintain appropriate fundraising metrics.
Oversee grant seeking and management.
Develop, manage, and evaluate the agency’s fundraising events.
Manage donor tracking and FR50/Abila database.
Create and manage annual appeal activity, including development of solicitation materials and targeted mailing.
Coordinate print and e-newsletters.
Develop necessary fundraising materials.
Other duties as assigned.

Hair Stylist within OTR Social Service Agency (Part-time)
Position Summary: Franciscan Ministries' Haircuts from the Heart is seeking a part-time Hairstylist to provide hair care for individuals who are homeless or otherwise in need. Our mini-salon operates out of Mary Magdalene House located within the St. Anthony Center in Over-the-Rhine. We also operate a mobile salon that visits additional sites in Cincinnati. This position does not typically involve working on weekends or evenings.

Provide hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, and beard trimming
Earn the trust of, assess the needs of, and build relationships with clients
Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Contribute to the collaborative team effort of the organization and our partners
Help maintain adequate inventory of hair products and tools
Closely follow safety, sanitation, and health standards
High school diploma/GED
Cosmetology certificate or diploma
Active Cosmetology License for State of Ohio
Comfort in working with individuals of varying ages and backgrounds
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Friendly and professional demeanor
Willingness to act in a manner consistent with the organization's mission and the values of integrity, compassion, empowerment and collaboration
