Haircuts from the Heart provides haircuts for people who are homeless, elderly, disabled, or poor.
Our services boost the self-esteem and dignity of participants, allow children to fit in at school, and give adults a “job ready” appearance.
In 2019, we were able to provide over 3,500 haircuts!
Our program offers access to affordable hair care to those who might not otherwise be able to access this basic service.
We do this through a mini-salon in the Mary Magdalen House in the St. Anthony Center in Over-The-Rhine, a mobile salon, and a student voucher program.
Haircuts from the Heart
We are always looking to add partner salons and stylists to our Student Voucher Program. We regularly identify potential new mobile sites.
We welcome Ohio-licensed, volunteer stylists to assist in the mini-salon.
