What We Do

Haircuts from the Heart provides haircuts for people who are homeless, elderly, disabled, or poor.

Our services boost the self-esteem and dignity of participants, allow children to fit in at school, and give adults a “job ready” appearance.

We are on track to provide over 3,500 haircuts this year!

Our program offers access to affordable hair care  to those who might not otherwise be able to access this basic service.

We do this through a mini-salon in the Mary Magdalen House in the St. Anthony Center in Over-The-Rhine, a mobile salon, and a student voucher program.

Ways to Get Involved

Haircuts from the Heart

We are in need of Ohio-licensed, volunteer stylists or stylists in-training to assist in the mini-salon and within the mobile program.

We regularly identify new potential mobile sites.

We are always looking to add partner salons and stylists to our Student Voucher Program.
