Franciscan Ministries receives a grant from Church of the Incarnation in Centerville for Haircuts from the Heart. The grant will be used to pay for putting our logo on our new van, as well as paying for van parking and gas. Haircuts uses the van to visit and provide haircuts to over 16 other non-profits in the Greater Cincinnati area..

The Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation has awarded Haircuts from the Heart with a 10k grant to hire a stylist for the new mini-salon opening in Mary Magdalen House in the new St. Anthony Center on Liberty Street in downtown Cincinnati. The Foundation, which is associated with the Paul Mitchell organization, has been a great supporter of our Haircuts program for many years and we are truly thankful for their generosity.

Haircuts from the Heart receives a grant from the Charles H. Dater Foundation. This funding will allow us to launch a pilot program in conjunction with CISE (Catholic Inner-city Schools Education Fund). The Dater Foundation funding covers the costs of vouchers so students can receive haircuts at salons located in their neighborhoods. We are excited about our new partnership with CISE and want to thank the Board of the Charles H. Dater Foundation for their support.

Tamar's Center was awarded a $30,000 grant from the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and the Joseph A. and Susan E. Pichler Fund, a donor advised fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. The grant will support a Shelter Manager position to assist with the day-to-day operations at the center. Our Tamar's program serves women who are being trafficked for sex because of their drug addictions.

The General Electric Community Service Fund supports Haircuts with the Heart with a $4,000 grant. The GE Evendale Employees Community Service Fund has long been a supporter of our Haircuts from the Heart program. The fund was established for charitable purposes and is comprised of personal contributions from employees.
